The Hon. John H.W. Pinder II, Parliamentary Secretary, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation (BMOTIA) will lead a small delegation to Monaco between 27 – 30 September for the 32nd edition of the Monaco Yacht Show. At the luxury show, the largest gathering of super yachts in the world, tourism officials will continue efforts to market The Islands of The Bahamas as a leader in the yachting industry.

The Monaco Yacht Show will feature some 562 exhibitors and over 130 superyachts. Attendees will have a chance to visit The Bahamas’ booth to see the beauty and appeal of the 16 island-destination and learn of the many reasons why The Bahamas remains one of the most sought-after destinations. The Bahamian delegation will participate in a number of meetings with leaders and stakeholders from across the industry including brokers, captains, technical builders, sales executives and other key players.

“The Monaco Yacht Show is the premier yachting event, and we are pleased to be able to showcase The Bahamas to this international market,” said Pinder.

He said: “Our Bahamian archipelago is a yachter's paradise. With natural channels cutting through our beautiful sand banks, robust coral reefs, and culturally rich islands, there is always an adventure awaiting.”

“Our islands offer a variety of experiences ranging from cosmopolitan historic Nassau, resort enclave of Paradise Island and the Out Islands with culinary delights, fishing, diving and gorgeous National Parks to the untouched natural beauty of our sparsely inhabited southern islands. Your dream vacation awaits in the crystal-clear blue waters of The Bahamas."

The Islands of The Bahamas is a yachter’s haven, boasting 700 islands and cays of turquoise clear waters. There are 13 marinas with drafts that can accommodate mega and superyachts, as well as small sailing yachts and medium-sized luxury yachts. All marinas are accessible for those seeking long-term or short-term dockage. For more information, visit www.bahamas.com
