Funeral Service for the late Annis "Annette" Ida Jones, aged 76 of Carven Way off Yamacraw Hill Road, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday 23rd September, 2023 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Wulff Road. Officiating will be Fr. Roderick Bain assisted by Fr. Chester Burton and Canon Basil Tynes. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum, Gladstone Road and J.F. K. Drive.

Pre-deceased by her siblings: Simeon, Walton, Catherine Jones and Cleotha Oliver.

Left to cherish precious memories are her 2 daughters Daphne (Dee) Jones and Dr Monique Mitchell; 3 sons: Chief Petty Officer Wayne Jones of the Royal Bahamas Defense Force, Arreo Ferguson Sr, and Lavardo Jones; adopted daughter Rakeima Watson; 8 GrandChildren: Corey Jones (Sharell), Ahrachelle Rolle (Sidney), Lakia, D'Vanya, Lavardo, Jr, Tyrec Jones, Arreo Ferguson Jr, and Chrysanthia Strachan; 8 Great Grandchildren: Savannah, Skylar and Cai Jones, Tinashe Rolle, Kyle and Kyla Beneby, Deran Bullard, Geovany LaFleur; 2 son-in-law: Audley Mitchell and Jeffrey Smith, 2 daughters-in-law: Terry Jones and Rachel Ferguson and one brother-in-law: Maxwell Oliver of Tampa, Florida: 3 sisters, Mae Glena Jones of Miami, Florida and Roslyn Jones of Tampa, Florida, Emaline Woodside and 1 brother Leo Jones. 1 aunt Branhilda Jones and 1 uncle Rodney Jones of Ft Pearce, Florida; Nieces: Nevolia Johnson, Gwendolyn Sawyer (Mathew), Inspector 2754, Jacqueline Jones of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Delecia, and Felecia Jones, Rochelle Moultrie, Clarissa White, Melinda Jones and Randrea Mzena (Harrison) of Cleveland, Ohio, Debony: Nephews: Rory Jones, Criag Lewis, Dr Gregory (Candice), Thony (Mercella) and Renard (Adriana) Oliver, Keyon Dean and Leo Jones Jr (Phillipa); Numerous grand and great grand nieces and nephews; Godchild: Dr Tina Bethel-Mims (Julian); Relatives and friends including Lillamae Holbert and Omar Lightbourne, Clara Morgan and Alma Turnquest, Rosten, Ezekial, Rose, Mavene, Branhilda, and Arlene Strachan. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians & Crematorium, #44a Nassau Street on Friday 22nd September, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday 23rd September from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
