Over a week after Prime Minister Philip Davis announced a reshuffle of his Cabinet and promised a full list of portfolios, the list was finally released yesterday.

The Publication of Portfolio Allocations shows that Marathon MP Lisa Rahming has been reassigned from minister of state in the Ministry of Social Services and Urban Development to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Renewal.

Rahming will have oversight of Urban Renewal.

Her old ministry is now the Ministry of Social Services, Information and Broadcasting.

Obie Wilchcombe, the West End and Bimini MP, is the minister of social services, information and broadcasting with responsibility for Bahamas Information Services and the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas.

Davis announced last week that Keith Bell, the Carmichael MP, was moved as minister of labor and immigration and is now the minister of housing and urban renewal.

Minister of Energy and Transport JoBeth Coleby-Davis (the Elizabeth MP who was previously minister of transport and housing) now has responsibility for Bahamas Power and Light (BPL), which was in the portfolio of Fort Charlotte MP Alfred Sears when he was minister of works and utilities.

The Water and Sewerage Corporation was also previously in Sears' portfolio. Sears, as announced by the prime minister last week, is the new minister of immigration and national insurance.

Myles LaRoda, the Pinewood MP who remains minister of state in the Office of the Prime Minister, still has oversight of disaster preparedness and emergency management and is now also responsible for the Water and Sewerage Corporation with the prime minister being the substantive minister.

LaRoda also has oversight of other agencies - Clifton Heritage Authority, Antiquities, Monuments and Museum Corporation, and the Bahamas National Statistical Institute are among them.

He previously had oversight of the National Insurance Board, Bahamas Information Services and the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas.

South and Central Eleuthera MP Clay Sweeting, formerly minister of agriculture, marine resources and family island affairs, is now minister of works and family island affairs, as announced by Davis in his recent national address.

Sweeting's ministry has two parliamentary secretaries.

South Beach MP Bacchus Rolle (who was parliamentary secretary in the Ministry of Works and Utilities) remains in the Ministry of Works and Family Island Affairs.

Leonardo Lightbourne, the North Andros and the Berry Islands MP who was parliamentary secretary in Sweeting's former ministry, is now also a parliamentary secretary in the Ministry of Works and Family Island Affairs.

He will have oversight of local government authorities and the Bahamas Public Parks and Public Beaches Authority, among other areas.
