The Organization for Responsible Governance (ORG) proudly announces the culmination of an empowering journey with over 109 leaders from Bahamian non-profit organizations (NPOs). Over a span of four intensive months, these dedicated individuals participated in eight comprehensive training sessions hosted by ORG, ensuring their NPOs are equipped to work synergistically on matters of national importance.

The structured training covered pivotal subjects crucial for the growth and impact of NPOs intoday’s dynamic environment. From delving into the intricacies of fundraising and honingleadership and communication skills, to mastering project management, exploring formalmodels of organizational collaboration, and advocating for human rights, ORG ensured thatevery participant is fully equipped to navigate the challenges they face. Additionally, the trainingalso emphasized the importance of monitoring & evaluation, ensuring transparency andefficiency in all endeavors.

As we stand at the intersection of growth and sustainable national development in TheBahamas, the role of NPOs has never been more paramount. Their potential to make lasting,positive changes in communities, advocate for necessary reforms, and foster a spirit of unityand resilience is unbounded.
