The Hon. Mario Bowleg, Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, expressed honour and joy on behalf of the government and people of The Bahamas on announcing The Bahamas will host 'World Athletics Relays Bahamas 24.' He made the announcement at a press conference August 2, 2023 at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium to launch the relays.
Mike Sands, president, NACAC and World Athletics Relays local representative, announced The Bahamas would host the event for a fourth time in 2024.
The relays are slated for May 4th and 5th 2024.
Male and Female athletes from all over the world are expected to participate.
