Funeral Announcement
Leroy Raymond Mackey, age 84 years, a resident of Victoria Avenue, Bamboo Town, Nassau, New Providence, and formerly of Old Bight, Cat Island, will be held at 10am, on Saturday, July 15th, 2023, at Greater Bethel Cathedral, Faith Way, off Baillou Hill Road South, Nassau, New Providence. Officiating will be Asst. Pastor District Elder Anthony Mitchell. Interment will be held in Woodlawn Gardens, Woodlawn Garden Street, Nassau, New Providence.
Left to cherish his memories forever are his children: Therese Miller, Corporal Sandy Thomas (Natasaya) Mackey(B.D.O.C.S), Deaconess Natasha Mackey, Detective Sergeant 3046 Barry(Katrinka) Mackey (R.B.P.F), Antoinette (David) Knowles, Shelton Mackey, and D'Roy Mackey. Adopted Children: Florence (Walter) Charlton, Jackey (Victor) Sturrup, Shandell Evans, and Trevor Hepburn. Grandchildren: Latoya Miller, Latanya Miller (Herndon Sands),Amanda(Randy) Mackey, Venessa(Oriel) Sampson, Ashley(Petreann) Mackey, Thomas(Taneka) Mackey, Sapphire Sturrup, Raquel Morley, Trevornique Hepburn, Kabria, Branique, Charity, Serenity, Shelton Jr., and Kianna Mackey. Great Grandchildren: Zakhari, Zahria, Zahnaya Sands, Arryanna and Aubrey Mackey, N'tajha Charlton, and Nickario Braynen.
