Funeral service for the late Dorothy Doris Bates age 80 years of #9 Family Street off Soldier Road West and formerly off Victoria Point, Mangrove Cay, Andros will be held on Saturday, July 8th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church, East & Shirley Streets, Downtown, Nassau, N.P., The Bahamas.
Officiating will be Rev. T.G. Morrison assisted by Rev. Ulric V. Smith II and Other Ministers/Deacons/Evangelists. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive & Gladstone Road.
She was predeceased by her parents: Darville & Nolder Bastian; sisters: Merlene Bastian-Rolle, Idamae Bastian, Vernal Destamar; brother: Pastor Eugene Bastian.

Dorothy is now absent from the body and present with the Lord. We thank God for loaning us this beautiful soul for 80 years and we will see her again one sweet day at the pearly gates.
Viewing will be held in the Serenity Suite of Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Limited, Robinson and Soldier Roads on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and again at the church on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
