NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers' Confederation and Royal Caribbean International are partnering for an information-packed Power Brunch that both hope will lead to numerous business and creative opportunities for the cruise line's proposed Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island.

"We are excited to have this unique opportunity to begin our outreach to the business and creative communities, providing them with the information they need to show the Royal Beach Club development team what products, services or skills they can offer to benefit from Royal Caribbean's planned beach experience on Paradise Island," said Jay Schneider, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Innovation Officer, Royal Caribbean International.

The event which will be held aboard Royal Caribbean's 'Freedom of the Seas' on June 27 will include a showcase of the proposed world-class beach club followed by brunch and opportunities to network. A record number of attendees have registered for the sold out event.

"This is a special installment of the Power Breakfast series hosted monthly by the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers' Confederation (BCCEC)," said Chamber Chair Khrystle Rutherford-Ferguson.

"The BCCEC hosts these events to facilitate dialogue by making information available to the private sector from other businesses, academics, and policymakers on matters relevant to businesses. We also provide networking opportunities for business owners and operators at these events and others hosted by the BCCEC.

"For more than five years, Royal Caribbean International has been one of the BCCEC's patron sponsors. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with them on initiatives that are mutually beneficial and provides opportunities for the local business community."

The Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island will be owned, operated and enjoyed by Bahamians who will own up to 49 percent equity in the ultimate beach experience. The $100 million investment on 17 acres on the western end of Paradise Island is projected to attract more visitors to The Bahamas, expand the choices of things to do while in Nassau, improve the beach experience with cultural immersion and open opportunities for creative and entrepreneurial individuals.
