Funeral service for Frederick Emel "Porky" Poitier-Pickering, 61 yrs., a resident of Thompson Lane, will be held at St. Agnes Anglican Church, Baillou Hill Road, on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Venerable Archdeacon Keith N. Cartwright, assisted by Rev'd Fr. Ruel J. Strachan. Interment follows in St. Agnes Church Cemetery, Nassau Street.

He is predeceased by his Mother: Naomi Pickering-Mcphee; his Father: Fredrick Poitier Sr., and Sister Marva Poitier.

He is survived by his Step-Father: Godfrey Mcphee Sr. and his Step-Mother: Bloneva Poitier.

Eight (8) Brothers: Kingsley Pickering, Stanford (Danelta) Green, Keith (Deidre) Ferguson, Gregory (Donita) Pickering, Godfrey Mcphee Jr., Christopher, Mario, and Joseph Poitier.

Eight (8) Sisters: Cynthia Rolle, Jacqueline Knowles, Mavis (Garry) Parks, Susan (Walter) Palmer Sr., Maria (Kevin Sr.) Johnson, Caroline (Cleveland) Palacious, Broquelle (Franklyn) Brice, and Angela Poitier.

Three (3) Uncles: Joseph (Geraldine) Pickering, Dorington (Maria) Poitier and Preston Rolle.

Four (4) Aunts: Vernita Mckenzie, Rosemary (Drexel) Ingraham, Florine Bain, and Maria Pickering.

Twenty-Six (26) Nephews: Octavis Strachan, Mcwell Smith, Lerone and Yannick Knowles, Ricardo (Corey) Curtis, Kareem (Samantha) Pickering, Dominique (Claudine) Bain, Hubert Mckintosh, Lavardo and Kendal Green, Keith and Keidre Ferguson, Gregory Jr., Jehnon, Donovan, Brenory, and Brandon Pickering, Walter Palmer Jr., Kevin Johnson Jr., Jermaine Edwards Jr., Carter and Camden Palacious, Christopher Jr., Anthony, Bryton, and Keanu Poitier.

Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 11-5:00 p.n. on Thursday.
