The Forestry Unit of the Ministry of the Environment  and Natural Resources hosted its first video competition by inviting schools to create an entertaining yet educational video on this year's theme, 'Forests and Health.'   A grand assembly to close out the 2023 Forestry Awareness Week and International Day of Forests celebration was held March 31, 2023 at Bahamas Faith Ministries.  The top three videos were featured at the closeout ceremony with winning prizes ranging from $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, and $500 for third place.  Aquinas College was the overall winner in this year's competition.  Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources, the Hon.
