DEATH NOTICEJoseph Vibart Wills, age 93 years of Sea View Drive, Highland Park and formerly of Guyana, died peacefully at The Princess Margaret Hospital on Sunday, 22nd January 2023.
He is survived by his son: Justin Wills of St. Lucia; his sister: Pamela Wills of the United Kingdom; cousins: Mark, Gail and Beverly Bannister; goddaughter: Cherita Symonette and many relatives and friends including: former Chief Justice Joseph Strachan and Beryl Strachan and Family, Nelson George, Mabel Smith, Kelly Lockhart and family, Douglas Audrey and Yvonne Symonette, Barbara Beneby-Hepburn, Tim and Yvette Ingraham, Vernal Sands, Shelly Nairn , Esther Hanna, Godfrey Eneas, Sgt. Ricardo Major of the Cable Beach Police Station, Kayla Bodie of The Bahamas Red Cross, Staff of Phamachoice, Saunders Beach , residents of the Grove West Community and The Bahamian Guyanese Association.
In his early years, in The Bahamas, Mr. Wills served as an advisor to the Government of The Bahamas and worked in prominent positions in several Bahamian industries. May his soul forever rest in peace.
The family will hold a private farewell.
