Funeral Service for Melva Lynette DeVeaux (Lynn), age 67 years, will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 2:00p.m. .at St. Agnes Anglican Church, Wulff Rd. Officiating will be The Venerable Archdeacon Keith Cartwright. Cremation was held.

She was predeceased by her parents: Joseph DeVeaux and Berneta Moxey DeVeaux-Hitchman and son: Cameron Joseph Blake DeVeaux.

She is survived by her daughter: GinaDeVeaux; sister: JoAnn Callender; niece: Jody DeVeaux-Knowles: nephew-in-law: Dana Knowles; grandnephews: David Knowles, Daniel Knowles Dillon Knowles; cousins: Kendal Marshal; The Moxey Family of Ragged Island including: Melodie Walkine, Dr. Mortimer Moxey, Marva Sawyer and Family, Margaret Moxey and children, Sylvia Moxey and Family, Pastor Mario Moxey and Family and Captain Kevin Moxey and Family; the Lockhart Family of Ragged Island including: Persis Lockhart, Maureen Lesbott and Joan Lockhart-Culmer; the Deveaux Family of Cat Island including: Philip Strachan and family, Myra Thompson and family, Tanya Seymour and family, the Zonicle Family of Cat Island and the Bell Family of New York City; close friends: including Ken Rose of Pennsylvania, Catherine Davis and Family, and Hugh and Delilah Tai and Family; beloved dogs: Bijou DeVeaux,Bailey DeVeaux, Vega Blue DeVeaux and Blackie of Hospital Lane.

Relatives and Friends may sign the Register Book at Butlers' Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Ernest and York Streets, on Friday, January 13, 2023 from Noon until 4:30p.m. And at the church from 10: 00a.m. until service time.
