Ministry of Foreign Affairs Parliamentary Secretary heads delegation to the ACS International Cooperation Conference

The Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Jamahl Strachan, MP, headed the delegation to the 6th Association of Caribbean States (ACS) International Cooperation Conference held in Havana, Cuba, on November 10-11, 2022, under the theme, 'Building Bridges of Transformational and Innovation Towards a Future of Sustainable Progress in the Greater Caribbean'.   Matters discussed during the conference included key issues related to co-operation in the areas of transportation, trade, sustainable tourism, disaster risk reduction, climate change among others. 

Also in attendance were His Excellency Ellison Rahming, Ambassador of The Bahamas to the Republic of Cuba; William Nottage, First Secretary, Bahamas Embassy in Cuba and R. Aruba Ferguson, Foreign Service Officer, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
