A 30-year-old man charged yesterday with having sex with a minor received $10,000 bail when he made his initial appearance before a magistrates' court.

Brad Charlton of Hampton Avenue in South Beach was arraigned before Magistrate Guillimina Archer in Court 10, Nassau Street.

Charlton allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old girl sometime between March 1 and March 31 of this year.

Charlton pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Prosecutor Ricardo Adderley did not offer any objections to bail. However, he requested that Magistrate Archer order that Charlton stay away from the alleged victim.
