Dear Editor,

We live in Great Harbour Cay in the Berry Islands and we have been coming here for 40 years with our family. We love The Bahamas and especially Great Harbour Cay and its people.

As of a few years ago, we have had some boats stolen from the Great Harbour Marina, but three weeks ago, we had two stolen from the marina and prior to these two, one which belonged to a Bahamian who used his boat to fish.

Maybe if you publish this news in your newspaper about what is going on here in Great Harbour Cay the government together with the local police and the owner of the marina will try to correct these criminal activities, which will discourage people from coming here on vacation.

That would be very bad for the people of the Island who mostly rely on tourism. Three boats in a month is the worst we have seen. Hopefully, you will tell this story in your newspaper.
