Nurse Jessica Marshall wins Joint CIBC FirstCaribbean & Esso Promotion

Nurse Jessica Marshall won 12 months of free Esso Gas and $3,900 cash from CIBC FirstCaribbean as the winner of a recent joint customer appreciation promotion.

Over twenty CIBC FirstCaribbean clients drove away with $200 fuel vouchers and cash prizes during the bank’s Happy Fuel Year promotion with Esso. Recently claiming the top prize of fuel for a year and $3,900 was Nurse Jessica Marshall, who banks with CIBC FirstCaribbean and is a loyal customer of Esso.

To enter and win the weekly and overall prizes in the recent CIBC FirstCaribbean and Esso promotion, Esso patrons had to use their CIBC FirstCaribbean Visa debit or credit card to fuel up with $25 or more.

“I love the convenience of using my CIBC FirstCaribbean debit and credit cards and Esso East Bay Street is my regular go-to gas station,” said Nurse Marshall with excitement on receiving her winners’ prize.

She continued, “As a nurse and university student, I am always driving to and from work and I am back and forth everywhere, so I love that I am getting free gas all year. It’s a real help financially.”

CIBC FirstCaribbean’s Customer Experience Officer, Kizzanae Arthur, and Sol Petroleum Bahamas Limited’s Retail Sales Executive, Earla Rahming, celebrated Nurse Marshall and presented her with her grand prizes.

Understanding that the importance of fuel, the bank partnered with the Sol/Esso brands in The Bahamas and Barbados for the promotion to reward their Visa debit and credit card clients.

The promotion ran for eight weeks and there were five cash or fuel winners weekly in both The Bahamas and Barbados markets. The promotion culminated with grand prizewinners, like Nurse Marshall, winning fuel free fuel for a year.

CIBC FirstCaribbean previously collaborated with Sol in 2019 for a similar promotion in Barbados.

The Bahamas’ Happy Fuel Year weekly winners included Rebertha Munroe, Alvin Davis, Robert Knowles, Jerome Walkes, Trevette Higgs, Brynica Bethel, Kameron Forbes, Natasha Bosfield, Austin R Smith III, Marissa Seymour, Alexis L Davis, Tiffany Donaldson, Darvid Moss, Megan Sawyer, Romeka Hanna, Vincent Williams, Nicholas Ward, Akera Reid, Cheniqua Russell, Francis Kennedy, Trevere Saunders, Lashan Bannister and Berchadette Moss.

The $7,800 grand award and the thousands of dollars given over previous weeks during the Happy Fuel Year promotion are examples of the many benefits CIBC FirstCaribbean offers its clients beyond traditional banking services.
