Woman denies trying to run man over

IN the Magistrate's court today a woman denied trying to run over a man with a car on Friday.

Police said Martinique Wallace caused harm to Charlton Tucker when she assaulted him with her Honda Civic vehicle on West Bay Street on July 18.
#She pleaded not guilty to assault with a dangerous instrument and causing harm when she appeared before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
#As a result, the case was adjourned to November 10 for trial.
#Wallace, who was granted $7,000 bail in the interim, was ordered not to interfere with any witnesses in the matter until the completion of the proceedings. As part of the conditions of her release, she is also required to sign into Fox Hill police station weekly.
