Jetlocker, 1st 100% Automated Freight Forwarder now open for Bahamians to use throughout and beyond the Pandemic.

Jetlocker, The Bahamas’ 1st 100% Automated Freight Forwarder and the latest venture from the Small Business Development Centre (SBDC) is now open for business. The new company held a grand opening event to launch its Covid-19 compliant contact free delivery system.

The opening event, managed by Azulify, took place at 10:30am on Thursday 5th August on Jetlockers’ premises, Success Plaza, Bernard Road, Eastern Nassau. Success Plaza being the former Success College. A small intimate outdoor opening was held, where guests were treated to light refreshments and LIVE demonstrations of the Lockers.

The remarks were delivered by Jetlocker Owner & CEO, Nikoan Johnson. Johnson was accompanied by President of Brickell Management Group, Ansel Watson; Brickell/ BMG is the property developer and manager to Jetlocker’s premises and have completed several commercial and residential projects including Venetian and Veridian.

The strategy behind Jetlocker user design experience leads to its customers and clients benefitting from not dealing with the tedious processes of shipping, or long lines, but with convenient longer hours of operation and most importantly affordable prices. The convenience of the experience has been compared to an ATM as Jetlocker is a secure electronic kiosk perfect for storing your online orders. Essentially, it is a private and secure storage compartment for your consignments. With each order, a unique email code is generated for customers to access the locker and obtain their delivery. This contactless system was created with the help of Starboard Softworks. The Contactless system allows Jetlocker to fight against Covid-19 by eliminating the risk of face to face interaction.
