Motorcyclist dies in crash

A MOTORCYCLIST died in hospital after he was injured in a traffic accident.

Police said around 9pm on Thursday, an accident occurred at the junction of Marathon and Robinson Roads involving a white Honda Civic and a blue and white Yamaha 450 trail motorcycle.
#“The collision occurred as a result of the vehicle travelling north onto Marathon Road from the East West Highway and the cyclist travelling east along Robinson road,” police said.
#“The rider suffered serious leg and head injuries and was transported to the hospital from the scene. The Civic received frontal and windshield damage.”
#The police said that on Saturday, June 5, sometime around 10am, officers from the Traffic Division received information that the motorcyclist had died as a result of his injuries.
