Memorial Service for Mr. Malachi Earnest Hopkins, 81 yrs., a resident of Thurston Court, Oakes Field, will be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Baillou Hill & Wulff Roads on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 10am. Officiating will be Canon Basil Tynes assisted by Deacon Kristopher Higgs. Graveside Service for Malachi Earnest Hopkins, 81,a resident of Thurston Court, Oakes Field, will be held on Friday, May 28  at 12 noon at St. Barnabas Cemetery, Moore Ave.  Officiating will be Canon Basil Tynes assisted by Deacon Kristopher Higgs.

Left to cherish his memories and follow his legacy are:
His wife: Margaret Hopkins; Children: Marvin and Montez Hopkins, Nakarha Hopkins- Evans, Theresa Hopkins, Monique Hopkins- Duncan; Sister: Princess Clyde; Numerous Grandchildren including: Shakaria Moxey, Rico, Shenequa, Jarvis, Charlisa. Dashanaire LaFleur, Candise and Tamara Hopkins, Shakeio Bethel, Saniyah Evans, Mase and  Alvion Hopkins and Moni; 11 great grandchildren, Other relative and friends including: Santino Evans; Charles Duncan Jewel Hopkins, Michael Moss, Tony Moss, Anna Hopkins, Pastor Opheila Cox,  Beatrice Farrington,  Cynthia Smith, Phillis Moss, Anotoinette Russell, Cyprianna Moss, Shakaria Moxey, Rico, Shenequa, Jarvis, Charlisa Saniyah Evans, Mase and Alvion Hopkins and Moni James Fernander, Agnes Pinder and  Julia Huyler, Pat Wilson, Elisha Pinder, Eliza Pinder, Lady Holly Knowles & Family,  Brenda Russell & Family .

Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 10-5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
