High pressure will prevail across the islands of The Bahamas through the weekend.  The week begins with mild conditions along with moderate to fresh winds until Tuesday.  Gradual warming with low rain chances will make this week relatively dry. Winds and seas will further diminish by mid-week to favour ideal boating conditions, which will continue for the remainder of the week.

 SUNDAY 4th – Weather: Partly sunny, mild and breezy to windy with the slight chance of a passing shower.  Partly cloudy and cool at night.  Small Craft |Caution in effect for the Northwest Bahamas and Small Craft Advisory in effect for the Central and Southeast Bahamas.  Winds: Northeasterly at 15 to 20 knots over open waters in the Northwest Bahamas; Northeasterly at 15 to 25 knots in the Central and Southeast Bahamas but higher in gusts.  Seas: 4 to 7 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas; 6 to 9 feet in the Central and Southeast Bahamas.

MONDAY 5th – Partly sunny and mild; breezy in the Central and Southeast Bahamas with the slight chance of a stray shower.  Partly cloudy and mild at night.  Small Craft |Caution in effect for the Central and Southeast Bahamas.  Winds: Northeast to East at 10 to 15 knots over open waters in the Northwest Bahamas; Northeasterly at 15 to 20 knots in the Central and Southeast Bahamas but higher in gusts.  Seas: 2 to 4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas; 4 to 7 feet in the Central and Southeast Bahamas.

TUESDAY 6th – Mostly sunny and mild; a bit breezy in the Southeast Bahamas.  Fair and mild at night.  Small Craft |Caution in effect for the Southeast Bahamas.  Winds: Northeast to East at 10 knots or less over open waters in the Northwest Bahamas; 10 to 15 knots in the Central Bahamas and 15 to 20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas.  Seas: 1 to 3 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas; 2 to 4 feet in the Central Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the Southeast Bahamas.

WEDNESDAY 7th – Partly sunny and mild; a bit breezy in the Southeast Bahamas. Fair and mild at night.  Winds: Northeast to East at 10 to 15 knots in the Northwest and Central Bahamas but falling Light and Variable at times in the Northwest Bahamas; and Northeasterly at 15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas.  Seas: 2 to 4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest and Central Bahamas; 3 to 5 feet in the Southeast Bahamas.

THURSDAY 8th – Sunny and warm.  Fair and mild at night.  Winds: East to Southeast at 10 to 15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas; Easterly at 10 to 15 knots in the Central Bahamas and Southeast Bahamas.  Seas: 2 to 4 feet over the ocean.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           
FRIDAY 9th – Mostly sunny and warm with the slight chance of a stray shower; a bit breezy in the Southeast Bahamas.  Fair and mild at night.  Winds: East to Southeast at 10 to 15 knots in the Northwest and Central Bahamas; Easterly at 15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas.  Seas: 2 to 4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest and Central Bahamas; 3 to 5 feet in the Southeast Bahamas.

SATURDAY 10th – Partly sunny and warm with a few possible showers. Mainly fair and warm at night. Winds: Southeast to South 10 to 15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas; East to Southeast at 10 to 15 knots the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas: 2 to 4 feet over the ocean for all areas
