The Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise and Lombard Odier Bahamas Ltd. are meeting the needs of students of Government High School (GHS).

Representatives of the two corporate citizens presented 27 laptops to GHS during a brief ceremony in the school’s library Tuesday, December 1.

Eloise Whyms, principal of GHS, said students are presently preparing for examinations and some of them are without access to devices. She emphasized that the need for technology is very important and the school is grateful for the act of kindness.

Francis Dean, president, Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise, said the organization is pleased that their donation will bring joy to students and cause their studies to go uninterrupted.
