Nassau's Squash Club Fall League

The second week of competition was underway on Tuesday evening at the newly renovated Squash Club on Village Road with six teams of five players participating in matches of best of five. For each game won a point is scored for the team.

All teams have sponsors and the results for the second week of competition are as follows:

Gatorade lightning sponsored by Thompson Trading and led by Jimmy Lightbourn scored 12 points against Sands who scored 8 points. The match between Jimmy Lightbourn and Adrian Burrows went to five with closely contested games and Lightbourn winning 3-2.

Ali's All Stars sponsored by J.S. Johnson scored 10 points against Festival Cleaners sponsored by Bahamas Wholesale Agency with Pembroke Williams leading his team with 6 points.

Ernst and Young Swingers were up against the Coke Crushers with the Swingers outscoring the Crushers 11 to 7. Michele Thompson from Ernst and Young played well against one of our junior members, Danielle Fields scoring three points for her team.

The competition takes place each Tuesday evenings from 6 - 9 pm for five weeks culminating with a finals night and prime rib dinner dance with Scooby- Doo on October 17th
