Kameni Sports a newly formed company held it's first Annual Track Meet,
"GOLD ATHLETICS GALA 2011" on the weekend (17th & 18th of June). 
The two day meet had over 200 participates with top athletes competing
against the clock.  Personal records were made as top collegiate
athletes competed against the best of Grand Bahama high school students. 
Athletes such as Demetrius Pinder, Wayne Davis the Youth Record Holder
in the 110m Hurdlers and Jeffrey Gibson lined up against the likes of
Shaves Hart, Blake Bartlett, Andre Wells, Michael Lockhart, Delano
Davis, Tommy Outten and Julian Monroe.  All these athletes came head to
head to challenge not only their opponents but also to hit qualifying
times for major upcoming International Meets like the Pan American
Games...
