Jarressa Johnson is a woman with a passion for the natural beauty of The Bahamas and for using her hands. She combined these loves to form Asserraj Designs, an outlet for her creative ability which showcases indigenous Bahamian natural raw materials. She was born in Freeport, but she moved to South Andros early in life, and remained there until she completed her high school education. But coming to the city did not take the island out of Jarressa.
