The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform the General Public that the Ministry—through its consular officers—is closely monitoring the instances of protests in several US cities. To date, we are not aware of any Bahamian that has been harmed.

Bahamians in the US are advised to follow the laws, act responsibly, avoid altercations and adhere to the instructions of officials.

Moreover, Bahamians in need of assistance are asked to contact the consul office nearest to them.

The Bahamas’ Consular Officers are located in Washington, DC; Atlanta; Miami; and New York and Honorary Consuls in Chicago; Denver; Houston; and Los Angeles.
