General Situation: The combination of a weak cold front across the Central Bahamas and tropical moisture streaming from the Gulf of Mexico is producing unsettled weather over the Bahamas. The front is expected to move into the Southeast Bahamas tonight where it will stall and dissipate. A low to mid- level trough is expected create unstable weather conditions over the Bahamas on Thursday. Wednesday 3rd – Variable cloudiness with a few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Daytime high temperature 88°F and overnight low 73°F. Small Craft Caution in effect Winds E’ly 15 to 20 knots and seas 4 to 6 feet.

Small Craft Caution in effect for the NW and Central Bahamas and Small Craft Advisory in effect for the SE Bahamas Winds E to SE at 15 to 20 knots over the NW and Central Bahamas and E to SE at 15 to 25 knots over the SE Bahamas. Seas 4 to 6 feet in the NW and Central Bahamas and 5 to 8 feet in the SE Bahamas.
