Cases hit 21

There are now 21 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in The Bahamas. Among them is one deceased person who was confirmed to have the disease, Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis announced yesterday. These cases include 16 on New Providence, four on Grand Bahama and one from Bimini. “Some specialists predict that the United States will lose between 100,000 and 200,000 individuals,” said Minnis at a press conference at the Office of the Prime Minister. “We have already lost one, and in our population, that is one too many.”
