SuperBowl LIV will get underway on February 2nd, and diehard football fans are already gearing up for the showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. Bud Light is the National Football Leagues (NFL) Official Beer until 2022. As part of its recent promotions to support the NFL, Bud Light has been giving Bud Light drinkers chances to win all-expense-paid trips to watch the Super Bowl, all over the world. Here in The Bahamas Bud Light fans had four months to purchase a six-pack of beer to enter to win. The amazing opportunity included two tickets to the event, as well as airfare, accommodations, VIP access to all bud light parties and NFL events.
Thousands of entries were received, and during a live remote held at Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits Nassau Street location, Shawn Turnquest was drawn as this year’s winner. Turnquest was pleasantly surprised by his win, “I want to thank Bud Light and the Bahamian Brewery for making this opportunity possible” gushed Turnquest. “This is going to be one exciting game and I’m thrilled that I get to be in the stands for the action.” The remote which lasted for 2 hours saw a steady stream of sports fans join the fun participating in various trivia games and football challenges for a chance to win free tickets to the biggest Bud Light Superbowl party on the island.
Fans not traveling to Miami for the big game will still have the opportunity to enjoy the football festivities at a massive Superbowl party at Nassau’s Cricket Club on the 2nd. “ This is the third year we will take over the Cricket Club,” explained BBB Executive Sales & Marketing Manager, Wellington Seymour. “The Bud Light Super Bowl party transforms the Cricket Club field into a simulated football field and last year it was overflowing with fans.” Bud Light charges a ten-dollar admission for game-day entry, revelers will receive an ice-cold Bud Light, and throughout the night there will be various giveaways as well as fun football activities. This event culminates in Bud Lights 2019 NFL promotions. which included ‘bud friends’ bar events, and launched the Bud Light Dive Bar Tour summer concert series which featured well-known reggae band Willis & The Illest.
