With respect to its prior statement of 27 November 2019 entitled, ‘Press Release In Response To Visit Of UN Human Rights Advisor’ -- the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to make a correction to inform that it was Ravina Shamdasani, the deputy spokesperson from the UN Human Rights Office, who told The Nassau Guardian about the findings from the visit of Mr. George Abu Al Zulof to The Bahamas. We will convene a meeting next week with all UN Agencies on the ground and we look forward to a productive outcome. The Ministry apologizes for the error that was made.
