Champions crowned in GSSSA volleyball

The C.R. Walker Senior High School Knights needed three sets to defeat the pennant-winning Government High School (GHS) Magic for the GSSSA senior boys volleyball title. The score was tied at 24 in the first set, but the Knights persevered, going on to win that set 28-26. The score was the same in the second set, but this time it would be the Magic who closed it out, winning 26-24. The third set was also competitive as the Knights were pushed to the limit. They eventually won 15-13 to win the match and the senior boys title. The final score was 28-26, 24-26 and 15-13 in favor of the Knights. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the series was Stephon McKenzie from C.R. Walker.
