One day after the Queen’s College Comets boys won the Bahamas Association of Independent Secondary Schools (BAISS) junior boys title, their senior boys team roared back in the final inning to defeat the St. Augustine’s College (SAC) Big Red Machine 13-12 to sweep them 2-0 in their best-of-three championship series at Queen’s College yesterday afternoon. In junior girls action, the C.W Saunders Cougars made light work of the Big Red Machine to win 11-3 to lift the BAISS junior girls trophy at SAC’s home field.
