In 1985 the music industry came together in an outpouring of generosity in response to the tragic famine in Africa and recorded the benefit single song “We Are The World”, which was written by the late Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and produced by Quincy Jones. In response to the devastation left behind in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, Julian Believe and Jayme Pinder have penned “I Believe In You”, an inspirational song of hope on which fellow Bahamians as well as their Caribbean counterparts have lent their voices in a rallying call.

The song speaks to having gone through the storm and being stronger now, encouraging people to keep the faith, all the while knowing it isn’t easy. And not letting their past determine their destiny. It says they will survive. And that there are people that believe in them.
