Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Peter Turnquest (fourth left) accompanied the President of the IDB, Louis Alberto Moreno (third left), the Bank’s Directors for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, the Executive Director for the Caribbean, the Bahamas Director and the Country Manager on a fact finding tour of Abaco this morning after meeting with the Prime Minister. The team met with Parliamentary Secretary James Albury, local NEMA Coordinator Permanent Secretary Jack Thompson, and Administrators Rolle and Lightbourne who gave a briefing of the situation on the ground and upcoming needs.
