Bahamians Antwuan Dean and Kemel Mitchell are among some of the most talented teens in the Church of God International. The duo captured top awards at the church’s recent week-long Teen Talent event organized by the International Department of Youth and Discipleship on the campus of Lee University.

Dean, a member of the Lighthouse Church of God, Harbour Island, took home three wins from the teen competition, winning awards in the Music (male vocal solo) category, for which he was awarded an $18,700 scholarship to Lee University; the Multimedia (presentation video short film) category; as well as the Art (photography) category.

Dean was one of 15 students, all winners, that were offered a portion of $250,000 in scholarship money to attend Lee University in the fall.
