Out of 11 women competing for the Miss Bahamas Universe (MBU) title, only the winner will get the opportunity to represent The Bahamas at the 69th Miss Universe competition scheduled for Sunday, December 16 in Bangkok, Thailand.

But prior to taking to the international stage, a national winner must be decided, and the women are in the final push to the crown, having participated in the only preliminary competition – the evening gown, swimsuit and avant-garde competition – ahead of the Sunday, August 18 finale at the Atlantis Theatre.
