Action continues for Team Bahamas at FINA Worlds

Action continued for Team Bahamas at the 2019 FINA (International Swimming Federation) World Aquatics Championships as three of the four swimmers representing the country got in the pool at the Nambu University Municipal Aquatics Center in Gwanju, South Korea.

Swimming out of heat three of the women’s 100 meters (m) breaststroke on Monday, Margaret Albury Higgs was sixth in her heat and finished 35th overall out of 55 swimmers in 1:10.65. She was only about six tenths of a second off her personal best and national record time of 1:10.03 that was set at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.
