Police are investigating an alleged drowning that took place in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, yesterday.

According to reports, shortly before 2 p.m., an American woman was swimming with her two grandsons in waters off Gilliam Bay Beach when they were caught in a rip current.

People who were nearby pulled the woman and two boys out of the water.
