WITH a local umpiring situation hanging in the balance, the Bahamas' governing body for softball will lend aide to a regional counterpart to bolster their corps of officials.
The Bahamas Softball Federation has been requested by the Turks and Caicos Softball Federation to assist with their current state of officiating by helping the development of the federation's umpires.
To that end, the BSF will conduct an umpiring clinic and training session with the Turks and Caicos over the Bahamian Independence holiday weekend, July 8-11.
