Today, Grand Isle Resort & Spa was named the official title sponsor of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival Beach Soirée, which will take place on Saturday, May 18 in Cannes, France during the Cannes International Film Festival.

The VIP invitation only event will be a “Swimming Pig Party,” with inspiration from the Bahamas and the famous swimming pigs. Steven Savor, a well-known Fort Lauderdale resident and philanthropist, will host this lavish Cannes beachfront party as attendees gather to witness footage from the new feature film, Pigs of Paradise, narrated by American Astronaut, Scott Kelly. In addition, the movie is based off the bestseller, Pigs of Paradise: The Story of the World-Famous Swimming Pigs written by T. R. Todd.
