ON the heels of hosting international competition in the capital last weekend, the Bahamas Volleyball Federation is preparing to field a men's team on their quest toward qualification in the region's top event.

The Bahamas men's national team will compete at the 2011 VI Men's Pan American Cup July 11-19, in Gatineau, Canada, hosted by the Canadian National Volleyball Federation, affiliated to North America, Central America & Caribbean Confederation (NORCECA), the Pan American Volleyball Union (PVU) and the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB).
