Sunday was a special one for Rev Dr David S Johnson at Macedonia Baptist Church on Bernard Road, Fox Hill.

Not only did Rev Johnson receive the banner that bore his name as the honouree for the Baptist Sports Council's 2011 Basketball Classic, but the 15-and-under team presented him with the trophies they won in three-peating as the champions.

During the service, most valuable player LaQuan Nairn (left) presented the team's championship trophy, Davon Adderley Jr (top) presented him with the pennant trophy and he got the 19-and-under vice president's pennant trophy from Lamar Saunders (above).
