After coming up short at the 2018 Junkanoo Boxing Day parade, The Valley Boys danced to victory during the 2019 New Year’s Day parade.

The group won best music, best choreography and best overall performance and finished with 86.95 points.

Roots came in second with 86.47 points and Saxons was third with 86.43 points.
