With a growing demand for specialty and healthy grocery options, Solomon’s Lucaya recently expanded its product offering in store with the addition of a new specialty section.

Until now, specialty and organic items at the location were displayed with conventional grocery items throughout the store.

The expansion adds more all-natural and organic dry goods, snacks, condiments and specialty items like cheeses to the store’s product mix. Setting up a separate space, also makes it more convenient for customers to shop for these products.

“We know that our customers in the Grand Bahama market have expressed a strong interest in affordable, organic and specialty options in our stores.

This new area allows us to expand our current product offerings as well as introduce additional brands to consumers on the island,” said Renea Bastian, Vice President of Marketing & Communications at AML Foods Limited, parent company of Solomon’s.

“Today’s shopper is more health conscious than ever before. They pay attention to food labels and are constantly looking at incorporating a variety of natural, organic groceries into their overall healthy living regiment.

With the expansion of specialty items at Solomon’s Lucaya, we are seeking to cater directly to persons with a keen interest in high quality, affordable whole food options and to make living a healthy lifestyle more accessible to them.

Shoppers can find brands like Wild Harvest Organics, Baby Crave, Noo Trees, The Honest Company, Better Life and HomeSolv and other brands with simple, all-natural ingredients.

In addition to the specialty section, Solomon’s Lucaya also added a new fresh meat case to display quality choice meats and expanded its selection of available fresh seafood options.
