The Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute (BAMSI) participated in a college symposium sponsored by Jack Hayward Senior High School in Freeport, Grand Bahama last week.

The purpose of the annual event is to sensitize senior students to the various options available in the Bahamas for them to continue their education.

BAMSI was the ‘hit’ of the show! The Institute was represented by the Director of Student Affairs Glenn Major. 

Mr. Major said the response from the students was exceptionally well, coupled with genuine enthusiasm from the staff and teachers. The interest in BAMSI was far beyond the expected.

Mr. Major was afforded a tour of the agriculture farm area and was very impressed with what the students are doing. BAMSI looks forward to a lasting partnership with Jack Hayward.
