The Bahamas Professional Golf Tour hosted their 5th Classic Friday, September 28th, 2018 at The Royal Blue Golf Course at Baha Mar.
As with the previous tournaments, Round 5 in the Signature Series of Professional Golf Tournament Play provided an equal calibre of golf enthusiasts as on the previous four (4) classics.
Moreover, last month’s Classic highlights no stranger to the greens – Albany Golf Pro – Keno Turnquest. Turnquest in his third BPGT appearance shot an impressive 74; Two Over PAR to secure him a 1st Place BPGT PRO Division Winner.
Following by only a single stroke behind Turnquest; Greg Maycock secured the 2Nd Place BPGT PRO Division Win with a score of 75. Leaderboard action kicks into higher gear with top Pros and Amateurs alike poised for 2018 BPGT Bragging Rights!
Riccardo Davis; BPGT Founder & Director clinched another 3rd Place PRO Division Win as well with a single stroke behind Maycock shooting 76; Four Over PAR and is also watching monthly BPGT Leaderboard stats closely.
Leading the Amateur Division, Horace Miller hailed as the BPGT 1ST PLACE AMATEUR WINNER. Miller shot 72 for an EVEN PAR performance. Miller had an excellent day on the greens and Top Ranking Amateurs are watching their Stats closely as well.
Peter McIntosh sealed a 2nd Place BPGT Amateur Division win finishing One Over PAR for a 73. Special congrats to Nadario Ferguson; 3rd Place BPGT Amateur Division Winner who shot 78 on the course. For Current BPGT Pro & Amateur Division Leaderboard Stats visit www.bpgt.org.
Team Albany; spearheaded by Pro Keno Turnquest; claimed Bragging Rights with a Net Score of 53; Nineteen Under PAR.
The race to number one takes a twist. Lemon Gorospe was leading with 1900 Points on the Tour but with Keno cinching a Win during Round 5 and with three more classics to complete, the Albany Pros are all fired up for a fierce fight to The BPGT Finish.
