Twenty-two top chefs to participate in Paradise Plates 2011

Three New Chefs Prepare for Paradise Plates (L-R) Chefs Samantha Moree of Something's Different, Kevin Getzewich of Mahogany House and Lise Russel of Chives will join 18 other Chefs and drink purveyors at the event which will feature exciting new fare and signature creations.NASSAU, Bahamas - Six new local chefs, restaurants and drink purveyors will be featured for the first time at this year's Paradise Plates, Hands For Hunger's third annual spring fundraiser event scheduled for Saturday, May 21st from 7 - 11 p.m. at the Atlantis Crown Ballroom. Chefs Kevin Getzewich of Mahogany House; Samantha Moree of Something's Different Bakery; Lise Russel of Chives Café; Bianca Lee of Tantalizing Treats; Go Green Café; Switcha Limeaid and Starbucks Bahamas will join 18 other returning vendors at the exciting event that will feature a combination of tempting new creations and signature fares to be enjoyed by over 450 guests.
Sponsored by The New Providence Development Company Limited and Tommy Hilfiger, the creatively presented event showcases a lavish array of gourmet food prepared by Chefs from Nassau's premier restaurants, fine wine and spirits and live entertainment with all proceeds benefiting Hands For Hunger the non-profit, humanitarian organization committed to the elimination of unnecessary hunger and the reduction of food waste throughout New Providence.
Guests of Paradise Plates this year will once again also enjoy culinary creations prepared by esteemed Chefs from: Mesa Grill; Nobu; Dune; British Colonial Hilton; Old Fort Bay Club; Luciano's of Chicago; Goodfellow Farms; Food Art by Cacique; Le Petit Gourmet, and Balduccino's Fine Foods. Fine wines by Mendoza Wine Imports, Sands Beer by Sands Brewery, specialty martini drinks featured by Tropics -SGH Management, and flavored water by Nautilus will also be showcased.
