With an opportunity to learn new skills and experience the latest products in their field, local contractors and service providers took advantage of Sherwin Williams’ annual Pro Show this month. Held at its Prince Charles Drive location, Sherwin-Williams hosted the event that featured hands-on demonstrations.
 
“We had an excellent turnout,” said Reto Giovanoli, General Manager of Sherwin Williams Bahamas. “More than 50 of our top customers were here to see, hear and interact with our international specialists in the industry. They asked questions and learned how to make their businesses better, and that’s exciting.”
 
Sherwin Williams Caribbean Sales Manager, Jose Perez, stated, "I feel this was the best event we have had in Nassau yet. It was informative, enlightening and interactive."
 
Highlighting the event was the introduction of H&C Concrete Metallic Systems, a durable, dynamic metallic coating with vibrant colour options for a wide range of flooring types. Attendees were able to see how easy it is to install, making it a new service they can now offer to their clients.
 
Sherwin Williams’ clients were also excited to see Harmony Paint, a new addition to the company’s product lineup. The paint has no odour, and in fact, it improves indoor air quality and absorbs odours. It is an ideal choice for expectant mothers, those with allergies, and for use in public places such as airports and hospitals.
 
Another focus of the 2018 Pro Show event was Sherwin Williams’ industrial floor coatings and wide range of elastomeric roof coverings by Kool Seal, a 100 per cent silicone roof coating. This is an excellent product for use to protect and seal asphalt shingles, especially when facing the threat of hurricanes. These products truly demonstrate the range of products that the local retailer offers.
 
“Our clients loved the show,” Mr Giovanoli said. “They really appreciated the new format and felt comfortable asking questions and seeing how the products work for themselves.” The general manager explained that many clients stayed for as much as three hours during the event, exploring the products at the booths and enjoying the lunch that the company provided. “This was really the perfect fit for The Bahamas market.”
