The 'jewel' in the Catholic education system

It took 22-years for the dream to become a reality, but the multi-million dollar “new” Aquinas College is the “jewel” in the Catholic education system. It’s the school parents are clamoring to get their children into for all the right reasons: An accelerated program for eighth graders to sit the Bahamas Junior Certificate and begin their Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Examinations in ninth grade with a view to sitting the exams one year later. They also offer pre-advanced placement (AP) courses in the 11th grade in preparation for AP classes in their final year. Students also have access to academic, vocational and technical subjects.
