BNT to celebrate Earth Day with National Park Day on seven islands

On Saturday, April 21st, the Bahamas National Trust (BNT) will commemorate Earth Day with its 1st Annual National Park Day, a cross-country celebration.

The first annual National Park Day will host exciting activities for the family in ten national parks on seven islands. Residents on Grand Bahama, Abaco, Andros, New Providence, Eleuthera, the Exuma Cays and Inagua will be able to connect with nature and build memories on this fun day designed for the whole family.

Based on the park you visit, you’ll be able to participate in exciting activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, guided tours, bird watching, sip and paint, bush tea tasting, dunk tanks, face painting, art and crafts and so much more.

Patrons of the parks can expect to learn more about the natural treasures of The Bahamas’ national parks while having the time of their life.
